  • "Utilizing Inclusive Practices to Reduce HIB"
    Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 7pm

    Student Services Administration, Robbinsville Public Schools
    This workshop will highlight inclusive practices throughout the district and provide an overview of both the state regulation regarding Harrassment, Intimidation, and Bullying and the district response.

    Kate Passafaro, LDTC and Lead CST, Robbinsville Public Schools
    This workshop will provide an overview of commonly diagnosed disabilities, recommended supports and interventions, and suggestions to enhoance the home-school collaboration. 
    This presentation will be provided via Zoom. A link will be shared as the date approaches.

    Claire Corliss, Assistant Director of Student Services, Robbinsville Public Schools
    Communication with teachers and the child study team happens all year, but the annual review is an important opportunity to learn about your child’s progress, further your partnership with school personnel, and advocate for your student. At this workshop, we will discuss what you can do to prepare for this meeting, what to expect, and your parental rights. We will explore how sharing information before, during, and after the meeting can help to alleviate some of the worries that can accompany this process.

    This workshop will provide an overview of the NHA to building inner wealth and supporting stronger, more supportive relationships with children, other family members, and even friends and colleagues. It will also serve as a means to share information about Special Education Advisory Groups and gauge interest in parent participation
