Robbinsville Public Schools hereby gives notice that Special Education records of students who have permanently departed the district will be destroyed. If you, or a family member, are a student who permanently departed the district and was born in the year 1999, or any year before, the records will be destroyed in five (5) years. The records will be destroyed in forty-five (45) days after December 31, 2022. The records will be shredded. Destruction of records is the best way to protect against improper and unauthorized disclosure of the records.
If you, or a family member, has a Special Education record on file with the Robbinsville School District, these records may needed by you for some purpose in the future. If you wish to keep the file for your own records, please make a written request for the records with the school district with in forty-five calendar days of December 31, 2022.

Acquisition of Permanent Records
You may request your permanent records anytime prior to forty-five calendar days of the date of destruction. Complete the Aqcuisition of Permanent Records form and email it to the Child Study Team Secretary. Upon receiving your request, you will be notified of when you may pick them up. After you have received your records, there will no longer be any Student Services records pertaining to you in the district.
